Covid-19 Wildfire application
In a team of six we built this application that keeps the users updated on COVID-19 cases and Wildfires all over the States.The features of this application includes SignUp as a civilian or administrator, subscribing for alerts, sending text or email alerts, finding the shelter nearby to be safe from Wildfires, the administrators can update the information or delete unwanted information.
The environment was set up by using Docker, the backend was handled by using Flask, the fortend was built by using React framework and the database was handled with the help of MySQL.
Other technologies: Python, JS/HTML/CSS/Bootstrap, Google API.
